All components in one kit: easy-to-install low voltage underground cable accessories

Ensto’s extensive product range for underground cable distribution networks include complete heat shrink kits for jointing and terminating low voltage underground cables. When all the necessary components are included in the one kit, installation is easy, fast and pleasant. Kits also include clear installation instructions. Here are good examples of our low voltage termination and joint kits which we have recently made small updates to:

New codes for STKO outdoor terminations 

New product codes for all low voltage STKO heat shrink outdoor terminations have been updated. The STKO terminations are used for terminating 1 kV cables with plastic insulation and plastic outer sheath. The kits are suitable for 3 or 4 core cables. 

The kits include:

• black heat shrink tubes for outer protection of the cores
• four shorter heat shrink tubes for core sealing
• a heat shrink breakout for sealing
• grinding and cleaning materials
• kits are available without or with shear head bolt cable lugs.

New sizes for SJK joints

The range of low voltage cable joint kits have been completed recently, when we have released new sizes, SJK25C for cross-section 70-150mm² and SJK25.1C for cross-section 95-150mm². The kits also include our latest low-voltage cable connectors SLJ25.27 and SLJ25.47.

The low-voltage SJK heat shrink cable joints are used for jointing 1 kV cables with plastic insulation and plastic outer sheath. The kits are suitable for 4 to 4 core and 4 to 3+1 core cables.

The kits include:

• four heat shrink tubes for insulation
• one for outer protection
• grinding and cleaning materials.
• kits are available without or with shear head bolt cable connectors.
