Luigi La Spina has been appointed Sales Director, Italy, as of August 17, 2026. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, an M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples, Italy, and an Executive Master in Sales Management from Il Sole 24 Ore Business School in Milan, Italy.
Luigi brings more than 20 years of experience in leading high-performing sales teams and growing international business across EMEA and APAC. He is known for delivering strong revenue growth, opening new markets, and managing high-value projects, with expertise in strategic planning, complex negotiations, and long-term customer partnerships.
His background closely matches Ensto's business. Throughout his career, he has specialized in low- and medium-voltage power cable accessories, distribution connectors, capacitor switches, and current-limiting fuses, giving him practical insight into our customers and their needs. Before joining Ensto, Luigi worked as Global Sales Manager at ABB, leading global sales and business development for Installation Products Division. He has also held Global Sales Manager and Export Sales Manager roles at Elcon Megarad S.p.A., where he defined global sales strategy, managed P&L, and led international teams with sales across five continents.
