Porcelain pin insulator SDI38

Suitable as a pin insulator for the SOT24 crossarm pin. The plastic sleeve in the top groove allows conductor pulling without stringing pulleys. The conductor may be tied in the top groove or on the neck; at angles always on the neck. Type-tested according to IEC 60383‑1:2023. The semiconducting neck and threads reduce partial discharges. For MV CC conductors, the neck must be connected to conductor potential; composite line post insulators (e.g. SDI88.37M20) are recommended.
