The additional diameter increasing kit is used together with a HJ33 type of joint kit, when a smaller XLPE insulated three core cable shall be jointed to a bigger XLPE insulated three core cable. The additional kit can also be used to joint together two XLPE insulated three core cables smaller than the kit conductor size range would allow. In that case two additional kits with a HJ33 type of joint kit shall be used.The additional kit is suitable for max. 24 kV three core XLPE insulated cables.
