Women in Tech and Ensto are looking for a Voice for tech industry


Women in Tech and Ensto introduce the new Women in Tech Voice speaker competition and are looking for a voice for tech industry who shares the passion for technology. Target is to give unknown talents the opportunity to make their voices heard, improve their speech skills, and bring out the voice of women in the technology field.

The WIT Voice contest starts on April 24, 2019. As the competition proceeds, the selected finalists will be able to sharpen their speech and performance skills together with speech professionals. Coaches are Kamilla Sultanova, Nelli Såger and Aku Varamäki.

The competition culminates in the Women in Tech Forum on October 11, 2019, where the finalists will perform on Ensto's stage, and the winner will be selected by voting. At the end of the day, the winner will give a speech to hundreds of people in the technology industry and those interested in it on the main stage of the event. As the grand prize, the winner will join the MySpeaker community and get a mentoring session with the top technology professionals, Sari Baldauf and Marjo Miettinen.

The target of Women in Tech, which is coordinated by Technology Industries of Finland, is to inspire more women in the technology industry and to stimulate discussion about the choices and factors related to study, occupation and career. Ensto, a technology and family company providing electrical solutions, has been involved in Women in Tech since its beginning.
