We improved all areas of our sustainability commitments.

We are happy to announce that our Sustainability Review for 2025 is here!

We are committed to sustainability across three main areas: Climate and Circularity, Safe and Inclusive Workplace, and Business Ethics and Compliance. To drive continuous improvement, we have set both annual and three-year targets for each area.

Year 2025 Key Targets and Results in Brief

Climate and Circularity

  • Reduction of Emissions:
Our primary focus has been on reducing our own emissions (Scope 1 and 2). The target was a 75% reduction in emissions from the 2021 baseline by 2025. We have already surpassed this goal, achieving an 80% reduction.

For the first time we have also calculated upstream emissions (Scope 3) from purchased goods and services, capital goods, fuel- and energy-related activities, transportation and distribution, and business travel for the year 2025.

  • 100% Renewable Electricity:
Our target is to reach 100% renewable electricity by 2030. We are currently at 96%, with renewable energy sourced in Finland, Estonia, and France.

Safe and Inclusive Workplace

  • Strive for a Zero Accident Workplace:
Our goal is zero accidents. We continue our efforts to strengthen our safety culture, and we have been able to reduce the number of accidents from 14 accidents in 2024 to 9.

  • Improve Employee Well-being and Engagement Index:
Employee engagement is measured annually through an employee survey. Our target was an index score above 72, and we achieved exactly 72, improving by one point compared to 2024.

Business Ethics and Compliance

  • Our Key Suppliers Have Committed to Supplier Code of Conduct:
We aim for 100% of our main suppliers committing to our Supplier Code of Conduct. Last year, we reached 98%.

Steps Forward

This year, we have already taken significant steps in advancing our commitment to responsibility. One key area of progress is enhancing supplier engagement. Since a substantial portion of our emissions originates from the value chain, strengthening supplier performance is crucial for achieving our commitment to reducing climate change.

Additionally, we are strengthening our product data management system, which will provide more reliable processes for tracking, validating, and integrating emissions data throughout our operations. These improvements in data quality support our decision-making in more sustainable product development and help our customers with their own decisions.
