Ensto has acquired a majority stake in Austrian Röhrbacher Technik GmbH
Ensto Oy has acquired 51% stake in the Austrian company Röhrbacher Technik GmbH (Rörhbacher), which specializes in trading electrotechnical products and offers services together with its partners to DSO customers, installers and wholesalers. The contract was signed on June 2, 2021. The acquisition is perfectly in line with Ensto DSO’s growth strategy and vision of becoming the leading expert for DSOs.
Röhrbacher employs 6 people in Böheimkirchen, close to Vienna, Austria, and has a turnover of 1.5 MEUR. Röhrbacher offers products and services for infrastructure systems along the entire process chain for the generation, transmission, distribution and use of energy. The main customers include the energy industry, electrotechnical wholesale trade and plant construction. Röhrbacher’s main product groups are in energy technology, LED lighting technology and some parts of general electrical engineering. The company also offers its customers energy technology and lighting planning with project support, as well as specific product development.

Röhrbacher will become part of the Ensto DSO business, and it will continue its operations under the name Ensto Röhrbacher Technik GmbH. Georg Kastenberger has been appointed Managing Director of Ensto Röhrbacher Technik GmbH.
