The smallest mechanical cable connector has arrived
Low voltage mechanical cable connector family has been complemented and has now eighth member. SLJ connectors are used for jointing conductors of up to 1 kV cables. The required torque of SLJ connectors is achieved by tightening the bolt until it breaks off. The connectors are water tight and suitable for solid and stranded, sector shaped and circular conductors. The core insulation may be plastic or paper.
