The additional core shielding kit is used to change a three core cable to three single core cables. The kit is suitable for max. 24 kV XLPE insulated cables with copper wire shield. The kit is needed for instance when terminating three core cables using screened separable connectors type CONT630, CONTB630, CONE250 or CONS250. The kit contains heat shrink insulating tubes, an insulating breakout, tubular Cu-wire braids and constant force springs for shielding, sealing mastic.
