The additional kit is used together with the 1 kV joint kit SJK for jointing of belted paper insulated, aluminium sheathed 3 core cables (e.g. APAKM). The kit is suitable for transition from paper insulated cable to plastic insulated.The kit includes three heat shrink tubes for protection of the paper insulation, a heat shrink breakout, a piece of H07V-K cable for jointing the aluminium sheaths.
