Head start to the World Cleanup Day in Finland

Ensto in Finland took a head start to the World Cleanup Day and gathered our troops to clean up our neighborhoods two days in advance before the big day on September 15th.

Nearly 80 Ensto people took some real action to clean up the surroundings in our Porvoo and Lohja locations. And what a great amount of waste we gathered!

World Cleanup Day (WCD) is the world's largest peaceful civic action and cleanup event in history. Millions of volunteers in 150 countries will stand up against the global mismanaged waste problem by cleaning up roads, parks, beaches, forests, and riversides. Thousands of communities will act as one, creating a powerful 'green wave' spanning from New Zealand to Hawaii.

As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations, Ensto takes part in the World Cleanup Day in 10 countries: Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, India, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Russia and Ukraine.
