Ensto sponsors the NGO "Electriciens sans Frontières"

As our vision "Better life with electricity" illustrates, we want to electrify the world, ensuring access to electricity for all is a crucial step for developing countries.

During the first Family Day, which took place on Saturday, September 22, 2018, Ensto's employees in France wished to engage in a partnership with Electriciens sans Frontières, an NGO that carries out electrification projects in various developing countries. In fact, since 1986 it has been leading projects designed to give access to electricity and water for the poorest people to improve their living conditions by making access to electricity a lever for human and economic development.

The participation of the children of Ensto Novexia employees in a treasure hunt organized during the Family Day helped to promote a donation of 4,290 € paid to the Electriciens sans Frontières. This day made it possible to introduce our company to the families of the employees but also to get involved in a cause that will allow families in need to live better with electricity.

This money will be used to finance two electrical development projects in Burkina Faso (West Africa):

  • Creation of a Plastic Recycling Center: this project will enable 41 mothers in difficulty to work full time in this recycling workshop. Thanks to this work 2-3 children for each woman working at the center will be able to return to school in a sustainable way.
  • Creation of a Literacy, Awakening and Training Center: this project will enable underprivileged children in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso and those who are out of school in the seven surrounding villages of Dinderesso to have access to a qualified education program in a new Literacy, Awareness and Training Center in Dinderesso.
