Ensto nominated in DME Award 2008

Ensto has been nominated as one of Finland’s 15 nominees in DME Award 2008 (Design Management Award). Ensto is participating in the competition with case Impressivo launch.

The DME Award is a competition to identify and award the best design management practices in the European Union 30 Member and Candidate states. The award sets out to recognise the challenges met by organisations that have been successfully addressed through a strategic use of design.

All the nominees were asked to present a poster of how design is integrated in their strategy, management and processes to achieve commercial gains. Our poster is describing how design was implemented in the different processes of the Impressivo launch and telling the story of Ensto during the past 50 years.

The DME Award 2008 Jury Day will be held on the 19th of June in Cardiff, UK. Recognition by the Award Jury demonstrates leadership in innovation, implementing change and excellence in management. Winners will receive official recognition of their excellent quality and successful design management before a distinguished international audience. Already being nominated in the DME Award is a huge honour for Ensto, but lets keep our thumbs up for the Jury Day this week.

Notification of jury decision will be given by 30th of June and the DME Award 2008 Ceremony will be held on the 13th October 2008 at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, UK.
