NOVEXIA becomes Ensto Novexia

On 6 March 2013 the company name of NOVEXIA changed to Ensto Novexia.

This name changing is the final step of the integration of NOVEXIA in the Ensto Group, that begun on 20 October 2010. The name intergration concretizes all the synergies which have already been organized, in order to promote the global offering of Ensto Group all around the world.

Integration allows Ensto to go further to meet the needs of our customers with innovative products and of custom-made services.

Valuable feedback from customers of Ensto Utility Networks

Ensto Utility Networks carried out a customer satisfaction survey in February 2013. The response rate was again positively high.

Ensto Utility Networks carried out a customer satisfaction survey in February 2013. The response rate was again positively high. We received a lot of valuable feedback on how our daily operations satisfy the needs of our customers and which areas need further development. The results tell us that although we generally operate in a satisfying level, there is still plenty of room for improvement in certain areas.

Personal relationship counts

The personal relationship with Ensto was deemed excellent or good by a majority of the respondents. The customers stated that a personal face-to-face meeting is the most useful information source and naturally also the best occasion for us to learn about customers’ environment. The second best sources were the eNewsletters (and emails) which are a handy way of informing about our new products and development in general at Ensto.

Improved service level

To our delight, 53% of the respondents reported that our service level has improved within the last two years. Moreover, our customers said that we have succeeded in the following:

product quality
ability to keep promises
reliability of deliveries
technical expertise
ease of co-operation.

According to our customers, our work earns high rankings in technical expertise, willingness to be of service, ability to keep promises, product quality and ability to understand customer’s business and needs. We respect our customers’ preferences and will focus our daily work on better fulfilling them.

Ensto Utility Networks laboratory to perform full type tests

In Ensto, we pay special attention to quality in all of our everyday operations. We want to offer high-quality products and services to our customers and hence, we continuously develop the ways of ensuring that. The main goal of the Ensto Utility Networks’ laboratory in Porvoo, Finland is to qualify and pass only the products with highest quality to the market:

Our products are well pre-tested in-house already during the development process
Our products are fully tested according to the standard requirements
We continue testing even after the product has been launched on the market (quality assurance).

Last year Ensto Utility Networks’ laboratory took the Quality Management System (QMS) in use. It was designed to comply with international standards ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and ISO 9001:2008 and to meet the needs of our customers.

SGS Fimko Ltd audited the Porvoo laboratory and the WMT/SMT agreement was signed. The agreement with the related certificate allows Ensto Utility Networks’ laboratory to perform extensive tests for our products according to the following standards:

IEC 61238-1 ed2.0 (2003-05); Compression and mechanical connectors for power cables for rated voltages up to 30 kV (Um = 36 kV) – Part 1: Test methods and requirements
EN 50397-2:2009; Covered conductors for overhead lines and the related accessories for rated voltages above 1 kV AC and not exceeding 36 kV AC - Part 2: Accessories for covered conductors - Tests and acceptance criteria

SGS Fimko is able to approve the test reports and issue the FI certificate based on the test results. Rules and procedures for this arrangement have been published on IECEE 01 and IECEE 02.

For the customers, the new Quality Management System and the recently signed agreement count for even more reliable Ensto products, withstanding the most demanding weather conditions for decades.

Conducted in over a dozen languages, Ensto Pro is a local, customized training effort to get to know the customer and ensure products are installed in the right way.

Ensto Pro Training Academy contains training sessions from practical installations to lectures on line design and standard requirements. Ensto people take responsibility for sustaining their own professional level. Still, in order to serve clients properly, Ensto wants to truly listen. This way we both learn.

Case Study: Poland

A program for network designers done in February 2013, in Baranowo, Poland, is an example of how Ensto reaches out to get to know its customer.

Energobud’s Paweł Linkowski, a product manager responsible for connecting new facilities to low-voltage lines, was one participant. For Linkowski, one wow in the training was Ensto Designer Suite software, a product he uses to create specifications for overhead lines.

“We use mainly overhead lines in Poland, the PAS, EXCEL, and AXCES systems. Ensto updated and improved the program last year. Now slack calculations are much easier, and we can present it in graphic form.”

Customer Ideas

Ensto also receives a lot of customer ideas in the training sessions and takes all suggestions seriously. A recent example is a client and product manager discussing rural area distribution cabinet and how it should be done. It took a month and a new prototype was ready. And then at the Jyväskylä exhibition in Finland two months later, a client ordered 200 of them.

A total of 70 companies were applied to this socially significant annual prize which was awarded for the most notable achievements in the field of energy saving. Ensto pushes ahead strongly despite financial uncertainty

Ensto pressed on strongly in spite of the financial uncertainty in the market in 2012. The turnover of the company, has increased both organically and through an acquisition in France, to total more than €260 million.

Ensto pressed on stronglyin spite of the financial uncertainty in the market in 2012. The turnover of the company, which specializes in solutions for sustainable development and energy-efficiency, has increased both organically and through an acquisition in France, to total more than €260 million (2011: €252 million).

Finland still accounts for a significant proportion of Ensto's total turnover; the company's share of the domestic market remained almost unchanged from the previous year's level, at 24% of the entire company's turnover. Electric building technology solutions, energy-efficient LED lighting solutions in particular, remained strong product areas in Finland, in addition to products in the power-station and network-construction sectors. The other Nordic countries too brought a significant proportion of the sales, at 21%.

The most significant market area was other EU countries, which accounted for 36% of the company's total turnover. The share of French operations in the turnover has increased especially significantly, thanks in part to an acquisition made in France. PGEP, a French company that provides solutions for office electrification, became part of Ensto at the end of 2012. Other countries that are exhibiting strong growth include Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and India. The increase in turnover was most evident in new product fields, such as LED lighting solutions, charging products for electric vehicles, and the smart grid market.

Network-construction products and energy-efficient building technology

Ensto Utility Networks business unit, which focuses on network-construction products, brought more than half of Ensto's total turnover, €128 million. The company's position in the network-construction product sector strengthened especially in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. An agreement with ERDF, the French national electricity company, on delivery of terminals for a low-voltage network sped up the increase in sales in France.

Ensto Building Technology business unit saw turnover of €91 million. The product groups showing the strongest growth were charging solutions for electric vehicles and LED lighting solutions. Strong countries for building technology solutions - in addition to France - included Russia and other CIS countries.

The turnover of Ensto Industrial Solutions, the business unit that provides industrial enclosing solutions for demanding and explosive environments, totaled €31 million, so was almost unchanged from the preceding year. The explosion protection products were launched to main markets with good feedback and high expectations for this year.

Electricity – the solution as energy costs rise

"We will go forward in line with our strategy, depending on the cleantech industry and the opportunities it provides. We will continue to invest heavily in product development and innovation in the field of energy-efficiency," says Timo Luukkainen, President and CEO of Ensto, describing the company's outlook for 2013. "As energy costs take an ever greater share of our disposable income, electricity will be a cost-efficient and sustainable solution. Electricity is the solution for renewable energy production, dependable energy distribution, energy-efficient living, and energy-efficient and emission-free traffic," he continues.

Ensto, Volvo and Lemminkäinen have started cooperation in order to ensure safe and easy charging for the buyers of chargeable vehicles.

Ensto, Volvo and Lemminkäinen have started cooperation in EV charging solutions. Volvo is launching the V60 Plug-in Hybrid, a chargeable diesel hybrid car, in early 2013. In order to ensure safe and easy charging for the buyers of chargeable vehicles, a cooperation was formed where Ensto manufactures Volvo-branded charging units and Lemminkäinen is responsible for checking the electrical grid, installation, and maintenance of the charging units.

The Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid is the first chargeable diesel hybrid on the market. Its driving range on electricity only is approximately 50 km, sufficient for the driving needs of many drivers’ everyday life. When the vehicle is used on electricity only, it consumes no fuel and produces zero carbon dioxide emissions. Ensto has designed and manufactured Volvo-branded charging units, where usability, safety and charging speed have been optimized. Volvo Health Check service is offered to all buyers of Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid cars. In this service, Lemminkäinen checks the property’s electrical grid and its functionality, recommends the most appropriate charging method, and installs the Ensto Chago charging units needed. “Growing collaboration and the increase in expertise in the market encourages the popularity of electric traffic, and it is therefore of great importance to Ensto. Ensto has acquired PGEP, the French designer and manufacturer of assemblies made of evolving and re-configurable sockets dedicated to energy, voice, data and images interconnection.

With this transaction Ensto’s position in commercial building and office electrification will improve remarkably, especially in France but also elsewhere. ‘The comprehensive product range for office electrification is expanding and now also includes solutions for the distribution of data’ says Timo Luukkainen, CEO of Ensto Group.

‘Our customers and partners will benefit greatly from this even wider selection of solutions and more comprehensive product range. The overall market area will also become wider and offer new possibilities’ Luukkainen adds.

Nissan Europe recognizes that Ensto Chago Point charging unit is very compatible with fully electric Nissan LEAF®.

Nissan Europe has given out a recognition letter to certify that the compatibility of fully electric Nissan LEAF® and Ensto Chago Point (EVP070.12) charging unit has been tested. The testing took place in IDIADA Automotive Technology in Spain, in September 2012. In these tests the compatibility of the Ensto Chago Point (EVP070.12) and Nissan LEAF® was proven.

“We are very delighted for this recognition and the co-operation with Nissan Europe. Tight co-operation with electric vehicle manufacturers offers us an opportunity to receive direct feedback to the product development of our EV charging product range”, says Allan Ahlgren, Director for the EV Charging Solutions in Ensto.

Ensto Chago Point is an electric vehicle charging unit with one socket outlet. It offers standard single-phase 16A charging as well as three-phase 32A charging, which ensures faster charging time.

Ensto Chago Point has a three-colour LED charging light indicating the charging phase and eventual failures in operation. It usually is wall mounted, but can also be fixed to the ceiling and the ground with optional mounting adapters.

Disneyland wants to endorse electric traffic by offering its clients EV parking spaces with an opportunity for free charging. Ensto Chago Pole charging poles were an excellent choice, since they possess all the qualities Disneyland was looking for.

“We wanted a modern and stylish charging solution that also meets all of today’s quality and safety demands”, says C.K.Chan, the representative of Hong Kong International Theme Parks. “Together with our design partner we went through dozens of companies with EV charging solutions, and Ensto Chago stood positively out from the crowd.”

According to Chan, design was the most important criteria in choosing charging solutions. Ensto Chago Poles were chosen because of their stylish appearance and refined design that sits well in the modern and attention-to-detail atmosphere of the theme park.

Hong Kong Disneyland was opened in 2005. It has a daily capacity of 34,000 visitors. Every year over 5 million people visit this theme park spread across an area of 27.4 hectares. Three new themed areas are under construction, increasing the park capacity to handle up to 10 million visitors annually over a 15 year expansion period.

Ensto Chago Pole

Ensto Chago Pole is a charging solution for normal electric-vehicle charging (16 A). The poles, available for both ground and wall mounting, are of durable, easy-to-clean stainless steel structure. A pole includes one or two 16 A power outlets and a watt-hour meter to measure the amount of energy obtained. As standard, the pole can be controlled remotely from, for example, a parking-ticket machine.

Ensto has provided luminaires to ships since 1990’s, first mainly for renovation projects, but with its widening product offering it’s now expanding to shipbuilding as well.

6 000 Ensto LED luminaires were installed into cabins and corridors of Carnival Cruiseline’s newest luxury liner Carnival Breeze. The ship is already cruising in the Mediterranean Sea and soon it will move to its final destination in the Caribbean.
“The luminaires are working perfectly; there has been no problems or defeats at all”, he concludes, testifying to their economy and high quality.

Big step towards shipbuilding business

Ensto has recently signed an extensive contract with Fincantieri, one of the largest shipbuilding companies in the world, to supply luminaires for its cruise ships. The agreement runs until 2016, during which Ensto will provide the public area house lighting for all its new ships.

Fincantieri will use a wide range of Ensto’s lighting solutions in their cruise ships. Each Fincantieri ship will be equipped with

3 000 LED luminaires
12 000 Halogen luminaires
4 000 Fluorescent luminaires

"Quality was the main reason for the Ensto partnership”, says a representative of Fincantieri. “We wanted to add direct control to the supply of the luminaires to ensure we only use high quality products in our ships, so we made the selection ourselves, not through our partners like in the past. We checked the samples of different actors and chose Ensto.”

Ensto CEO goes electric

Ensto CEO Timo Luukkainen shows the way to greener mobility. He now drives to work with his brand new company car, the award-winning extended-range electric vehicle, Opel Ampera.

Luukkainen received his new Power Blue –colored vehicle last week.

“I’ve driven dozens of Opels, but this is the coolest of them all,” beamed Luukkainen. “Besides its other great qualities, it saves both money and the environment.”

Environmentally friendly commuting in focus

Ensto encourages sustainable commuting. According to Ensto’s low emission commuting policy those using electric vehicles pay only 20% of the taxable value of the vehicle.

A carport with solar panels and an EV charging station has been built in the Ensto Porvoo parking lot. An electric vehicle charged there daily during the workday drives up to 10 000 kilometers per year – completely without purchased electricity.

Ampera is both an economic and environmentally friendly choice, fitting to Ensto’s sustainable values. Its combined consumption is only 1,2l /100km, and its costs of use when using electrical engine are 2,2 euros/100km.

With Opel Ampera the CO2-emissions of traffic are reduced to a whole new level, to only 27g/km.

Opel Ampera – dynamic extended-range EV

The USA-made Ampera is a five-door, four-seater hatchback designed for everyday use. The Ampera has over 300 litres of storage space and its safety has been insured with 5-star Euro NCAP -classification.

The Lithium-Ion battery powers the car for the first 40-80 km – enough to cover most European drivers’ daily commute. When the battery runs low, the range extender kicks in. This gasoline-powered generator supplies electricity for another 500 km. Electricity is used to drive the wheels at all times and speeds.

The car has already won numerous awards such as the 2009 Green Car Vision Award, 2011 Green Car of the Year, 2011 North American Car of the Year, 2011 World Green Car and 2012 European Car of the Year.

Renault promoted its range of electric vehicles in one of the most high profile international media events in France, the Cannes Film Festival. Ensto provided all the charging units for the event.

Renault promoted its range of electric vehicles in one of the most high profile international media events in France, the Cannes Film Festival. Ensto provided all the charging units needed to charge the 25 EV’s showcased and test driven by the guests during the event.

The French premiere of the Ensto EVP took place on the 65th edition of the Cannes festival, from May 16 to 27, 2012. There, a fleet of Renault cars escorted the elite of international film to the red carpet. Renault, the official partner of the festival, provided over 250 cars to drive up and down the Croisette, the town’s famous seaside boulevard.

About one tenth of the fleet was fully electric: its ranks included several pieces of Renault’s electric vehicles Fluence, Zoé and Twizy.

Renault used this opportunity to promote its newest EVs in cooperation with Interparking, a large French company that operates numerous parking facilities across the country.

Renault offered the accredited guests a possibility to test drive the vehicles, which were prominently showcased in three parking areas close the Festival area (parking du Palais, parking Suquet-Forville and parking Lamy) and behind the palace plaza. There the guests were also able to see the award-winning Ensto EVP charging points in action.

Electricity between Ensto and Interparking

Interparking chose Ensto to deliver the EV charging facilities needed in the event. The parking areas were equipped with 24 EVP070 charging points.

Interparking’s Marc Grasset was in charge of the project. Because of his former employment at Ineo he’s had experience with Ensto for over 20 years. It was him who was behind the decision to install Ensto products.

“I chose Ensto, because the sleek and stylish design of Ensto EV products was suitable for the occasion,” says Grasset. “Our strong partnership with the Ensto sales team also influenced my decision. In fact it was not so easy for me to choose Ensto because Renault had other primary partners for EV charging products. But Ensto’s products convinced us on their own merits.”

Ensto Sales Manager Jerome Perdu was in charge of the project on the other end and Ensto Product Manager Olivier Fortier was on the building site to oversee the installation.

Ensto training survey gave valuable feedback

Ensto conducted a feedback survey for its Ensto Pro trained customers in May 2012. Overall, we got very good feedback which we also intend to utilize. Thank you to all the respondents.

Ensto conducted a feedback survey for its Ensto Pro trained customers in May 2012. The survey was sent to 249 customers in 10 languages and the response rate was a very positive 47 %. Overall, we asked what kinds of trainings our customers attend, how they rate the trainings and what development suggestions they have for us. We got very good feedback which we also intend to utilize.

Professional Ensto trainers valued

In general, the respondents are content with the held Ensto trainings. Our professional trainers, in particular, received positive feedback repeatedly. All respondents also found trainings beneficial to their work and that trainings help to decrease installation errors.

Moreover, Ensto presentation materials were appreciated and a strong majority found them informative and useful even after the training sessions. As many as 93 % said they would download our training material via the web when needed in their daily work.

Direct development suggestions

Our customers gave us valuable development suggestions, as well. The most repeated one was to have even more practical training. Also, our customers valued information on Ensto products, new ones in particular, and on-site visits on installation locations. We are truly happy for all suggestions and will modify our trainings accordingly and with different emphasis areas in different countries.

100% recommendation rate

All, 100 %, survey respondents would recommend Ensto trainings to others. This is the most positive feedback we can get as it means that we have succeeded in giving our customers the kind of service they truly need and want. When asked why the respondents would recommend us, the most repeated reasons were:

Lucky three winners

Ensto Finland Oy won SLO Oy's Energy Saving Week competition for suppliers and was chosen as SLO's BlueWay supplier of 2012. Energy Saving Week is part of the Sonepar Group's BlueWay program, promoting sustainable development. According to SLO, Ensto stood out actively in an exemplary manner in the Energy Saving Week competition and was far and away superior in meeting the competition requirements, with its systematic and well-planned approach.

“The goal of Energy Saving Week is to share information on energy-effective products and services with customers and cooperation partners at the same time in all types of marketing of the Sonepar Group. The week becomes concrete for our customers in the form of affordable campaign products and interesting product training and events. This year, we wanted to challenge our suppliers to address Energy Saving Week in closer work with our customers,” says Sami Kokkomäki, SLO's product marketing manager.

Ensto was the best at rising to the challenge

“Ensto was the best at rising to our challenge and carried out the implementation in a very systematic way. Ensto took part in the competition with a themed approach that was built around energy-effective LED lighting. The company presented an example of energy-efficient renovation of lighting for the common areas of an apartment building, where old luminaires that consumed a great deal of energy were replaced with energy-efficient LED luminaires,” Kokkomäki continues.

“Also the product campaign was successful: Ensto's AVR320 LED is a good and powerful luminaire. In cooperation with SLO offices, Ensto also organized not one but six individual events,” Kokkomäki says of Ensto's performance in the competition.

BlueWay is a sign for energy efficiency

In both SLO's and Ensto's product ranges, priority is given to products that are environment-friendly to manufacture or use. In SLO's product range, these products are called BlueWay products. Their selection considers the following elements: energy savings, recyclability, packing method, materials, and product lifetime. In terms of product sales, Ensto is SLO's seventh largest BlueWay supplier.

HI Design 2012

HI Design 2012 will highlight a meeting point for high-quality design and technology. It will be held at Kaapelitehdas in Helsinki from 8 June to 2 September 2012.Participating are some of Finland's top companies, such as Ensto with its electric vehicle charging point that has been awarded for the design.

The HI Design 2012 exhibition at the Cable factory (Kaapelitehdas) Helsinki showcases products that merge high-end design with technology. The exhibition includes products and related background information to illustrate the role of design in product development.

Visitors will gain a new perspective on everyday objects and will be able to take a closer look at the equipment and machines used in heavy industry. The exhibition details the significance of design - about how, regardless of field, well-executed design can help to create durable, usable and attractive products, which are efficient to manufacture. Participating are some of Finland's top companies, such as Nokia, KONE, Ensto, Konecranes, Rocla, Patria, Planmeca, Planmed, ABB and Link Design.

ONE Nordic, one of the Nordic region’s leading contractors offered its installers an extensive training session in March 2012. Ensto was proud to be involved in the unique event with its Ensto Pro training program.

ONE Nordic, one of the Nordic region’s leading contractors in the fields of energy technology, offered its installers an extensive training session in March 2012. The installers received thorough theoretical and practical training about underground cables and their accessories. Ensto was proud to be involved in the unique event with its Ensto Pro training program.

Extensive installer training

Headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, ONE Nordic employs approximately 1,500 people throughout Sweden and Norway, and its desire was to train a total of 80 installers from the Scania region, 20 each week, over a period of four weeks.

Mutual learning

Tents were set up in Hässleholm, in the backyard of ONE’s office building, where Ensto Pro trainers went to work side by side with installers from ONE. This type of training has enormous benefits for both parties because a lot of vital listening and learning goes on. For ONE training, face-to-face means a collegial experience where a wide variety of parties come together, including the cable manufacturer Nexans, accessory makers like Ensto and Tyco, as well as Svensk Energi, a member organization dedicated to gathering information about the power industry in Sweden.

Ensto has signed a contract with Revolta to deliver charging stations for the MOESK EV project in the Moscow area. The project is the first notable pilot for testing EV charging networks in Russia. Ensto will provide the first 20 stations being tested.

Ensto to deliver charging Stations for a major Russian EV pilot

Revolta is a Russian high technology company in EV sector, founded by Russian investors. MOESK is a specialized power distribution company providing electric power to the citizens of Moscow and its surrounding region. The companies have signed a contract on creation and development of EV infrastructure on MOESK’s service territory as an element of complex strategy for smart grid implementation.

The MOESK EV project was created to learn the possibilities of practical application of electric transport, to develop and test technical solutions for charging infrastructure, and to design a business-model for it. It is the first complex EV project in Russia.

The testing infrastructure will consist of a charging network of 28 charging stations of different types integrated into the existing power system, 8 electric vehicles of different types including LCV, and necessary software solutions to manage and control the charging network.

Ensto to supply the project with state-of-the-art charging stations

Ensto was chosen as the major supplier of EV charging stations for the pilot. Ensto is a Finnish-based international company that specializes in developing and manufacturing EV charging stations and other sustainable solutions in electrical engineering.

Ensto delivers 20 of their new EVC 100 stations to function as the core of the charging infrastructure. The EVC station offers an advanced solution for fast charging of an electric vehicle against a fee.

Ensto EVC station is designed to suite different urban locales. Its durable, easy-to-clean stainless steel construction is both stylish and functional. It is vandal resistant and contains several active and passive safety features. The technology includes user identification, via either an RFID card or a mobile phone, and data link to external information systems over a GPRS connection. With a possible 3*32A (400V) power supply, it can charge a 40kWh battery in around two hours.

– These features make the EVC station an ideal charging solution for public charging anywhere in the world, says Allan Ahlgren, Director of EV Charging Solutions at Ensto.

A ground-breaking moment for Russia

The project will be carried out in a period of 12 months. The program will take into account the conditions of network complex in Moscow, as well as the climate and other specific aspects of Moscow region. As a result, MOESK and Revolta plan to prepare a complex program of charging infrastructure development and use of electric transport.

– MOESK is a pioneer in the Russian EV market. The MOESK EV project is unique, and hopefully, its implementation will give a start to the practical development of EV transport and infrastructure in Russia, says Maxim Osorin, General Manager of Revolta LLC. – This project will, first of all, give answers to all the questions connected with the charging infrastructure and the use of electric transport. The project will result in making further plans for development based on the facts, not opinions like before, promises Osorin.

– The MOESK EV project is meant to become a testing ground for preparing general regulations, both technical and structural, for safe and effective integration of the new consumer type into the existing power system, confirms Denis Tsypulev, MOESK EV Project Manager. – We are planning to not only create the network of charging stations but also to replace the gasoline fleet with the electric one. Hopefully, our example will expand, and the project will be a new step to the creation of new and greener development model in Russia.”

The Italian island of Capri has started an initiative to promote electric mobility on the island. Ensto will provide the electric vehicle charging solutions for the project.

The municipality of Anacapri signed a “memorandum of understanding” with Ensto and the society aimed at promoting innovative and sustainable technologies. The aim of the agreement is to promote sustainable mobility along the roads of the island.

With this initiative the municipal administration pursues to combat the increase in vehicular traffic that, in recent years, has significantly raised the levels of air pollution and noise throughout the island. Capri is known as a popular holiday destination, and the increasing tourism has resulted in a stedy increase of population and traffic.

Initiative taking off immediately

The project "development of electric mobility Capri-Anacapri and Ensto" was approved by the City Council in September 2011. It gave permission to set up necessary infrastructure to encourage and enable the use of electric cars.

Building of the charging infrastructure will begin shortly. Electric vehicle charging stations will be installed at various points of the island.

A unique but welcome sight on the streets of the Blue Island

For the signing ceremony Ensto "imported" to the island its first electric car ever. It was SAM (for “Sustainable Automotive Mobility”) - a modern three-wheeler that fitted perfectly on the very narrow streets of Capri. The electric motor also showed its perfect capacity on the very hilly island.

The Mayor of Anacapri, Franco Cerrotta, and the Councillor for tourism, Massimo Coppola, while launching the initiative, agreed that this "is a starting point for re-launching the territory of the island of Capri, the ecological island in the Mediterranean, for the development of green economy on the isola azzurra [“blue island”]".

Ensto develops modern parking services in France

Ensto takes part in an international project that develops a new kind of innovation, a multiservice parking kiosk. The multiservice kiosk is an intelligent solution combining parking meter, electric vehicle charging and internet-based city services. The kiosk is part of a new parking system being introduced in Nice, France.

Urban parking and other traffic solutions have to develop constantly as traffic increases and becomes more versatile. Semiacs, a semi-public company in charge of the Nice street parking and its 17 car parks, has launched a new generation of ticket machines that prefigures the city of tomorrow. Ensto has had a strong presence in developing and realizing the project which reflects modern, innovative and sustainable urban planning.

Multiservice kiosks modernize and diversify parking services

The heart of the new parking system is a multiservice kiosk that will replace traditional ticket machines. In addition to handling parking fees it offers an integrated EV charging solution and a diverse range of urban services. It includes a touch screen and a Wi-Fi connection, enabling the use of internet-based services, such as timetables, maps and information about city services, culture, events and entertainment.

A countless number of functions, applications and devices, such as printers and cameras, can be integrated with the multimedia kiosk. In addition to street side and information services it can provide emergency services, as well as alternative and ecological transportation services, such as electric vehicle and bike sharing applications.

International project with critical acclaim

The multiservice kiosk was developed as a result of cooperation between several companies. The project was set in motion by SAS Sude, a French engineering consulting firm specializing in the urban space management and mobility. Spanish-based Urbiotica in turn provided the sensors and the necessary technology to collect relevant data from urban surroundings.

Ensto developed and built the "hard" part of the kiosk: the stainless steel structure and electronic components, and added in the system the electrical charging solution. Ensto EVC charging station, which integrates seamlessly into the payment system of the kiosk, was chosen for the project.

The innovation received critical acclaim already in the beginning of the project, as it won over the jury of the World Congress expo Smart City fair held in Barcelona in December 2011. Facing over a hundred innovations from 19 countries, the project stood out for its originality, winning the Award for best innovative Smart City project in the world.

Nice to show the way as modern parking city

The multiservice kiosks will be installed in Nice in March 2012, and the entire system will be up and running during 2013.

In addition, from January 2012, sensors will be installed for the 10 000 street side parking spaces in the city. The sensors will provide real-time information about available parking spots that can be accessed via smart phones. This significantly reduces the time used driving around looking for free parking space, easing traffic congestion. “Convenient for drivers, this system will help improve traffic flow in the city center, while optimizing the management of places," says Benoit Kandel, President of the Semiacs who initiated the project.

”The project and its intelligent innovations will benefit the city of Nice and its inhabitants”, says Kandel. Their experience will undoubtedly shape the future development of modern parking services. Thanks to this project, Ensto will have a great position in this development.

Ensto remains confident in uncertain times

Year 2011 ended positively for Ensto although uncertain economic situation already predicted the end for growth. However, the cleantech company focusing on sustainable development grew by 17 per cent with a turnover of 252 M € in 2011. The acquisition of Novexia explained the growth to an extent but there was substantial organic growth in several market areas, as well. Operating profit improved slightly to 14.2 M€.

Success in international traditional and Smart Grid businesses

The biggest market areas for Ensto were Finland and other Nordic countries that together accounted for nearly half of the turnover. Other EU countries, especially France, created business worth of 37 per cent of the turnover and Russia and the former CIS countries grew substantially.

The biggest strategic business unit, Ensto Utility Networks, grew extensively. Ensto’s position in the utility business in France and other French speaking countries was enforced. Other growth areas included Norway, Russia, Poland and Kazakhstan. The success in Russia was partly due to the cooperation agreement between Ensto and IDGC Holding. In the agreement, both parties agreed to develop the Russian distribution grid to be more reliable.

The sales of both building technology and industrial business units remained at the same level as in the previous year. Inside the business units, there were strong growth areas such as heat recovery systems, LED-lighting and heating solutions in Russia. New solutions for electric vehicle charging and ATEX enclosing solutions to hazardous environments were also well-received.

Forecasts brightened gradually

With a relatively positive result, Ensto is facing the future with confidence. Year 2012 still seems to be highly volatile but there is more reason for optimism compared to the situation forecasted a few months ago. Ensto will strengthen its position as the expert in energy efficiency with emphasis on product development and sustainable business opportunities.

On 12 August 2011 in Moscow, IDGC Holding, JSC and Ensto concluded a cooperation agreement to develop the Russian distribution grid complex and its reliability and energy efficiency through integrated implementation of innovative solutions and developments.

Enervent Oy (’Enervent’) and Recair Ltd (’Recair’) have signed an agreement according to which Enervent will sell its Pro business to Recair. The Enervent Pro series comprises larger-sized air handling equipment for retail and office construction. Enervent will focus on the Family series and the internationalisation of that business.

Enervent employs 13 production staff and 3 office staff in its Pro business, who will be transferred to the employment of Recair as previous employees. Of the approximately €2 million turnover of the Enervent Pro business, 75% is generated from Finnish sales.

After the transaction, Enervent will focus on the Family series of heat recovery and air handling equipment intended for houses. This series already forms about 80 of Enervent's turnover and employs about one hundred people.

”Recair offers an excellent basis to guarantee the international competitiveness of Enervent’s Pro business. In line with its future strategy, Enervent wants to invest in its product development and sales of solutions for residential construction,” says Jari Mikkonen, CEO of Enervent Oy. Ensto Utility Networks conducted a customer satisfaction survey in spring 2011 and the results have now been processed. To our delight, we have received a lot of valuable feedback and found out that we also have room for improvement.

We have heard and understood our customers’ feedback and will make actions accordingly. There were some clear key areas we decided to seize:

1. Service level development

Altogether, the majority of our customers state that our service level has improved during the past two years. However, at the same time, 5% are saying that the service level has decreased. We will pay special attention to keeping our services and operations at a high level.

2. Personal relationship with us

Almost all the respondents were stating that their personal relationship with us is good or excellent. And as we knew to expect, the most useful information source for the customers is the personal visit. Still a significant number of our clients are welcoming more active contacting from us and that is something we will happily execute!

3. Future purchases

All customers of Ensto Utility Networks responded that they are willing to purchase from us in the future but some expressed this with reservations saying that they will purchase with ‘certain conditions’. We will do our best to find out what these expectations are and to fulfill them.

Development actions

Local presence is an important part of Ensto Utility Networks and we consider it very important to serve our customers locally in their language. Based on the results, we have made country specific action plans to develop our operations and services according to the local customers’ needs and wishes.

Tallinn-Monte Carlo Rally 2011

Tallinn-Monte Carlo Electric Race Marathon 2011 has now finished. Ensto participated in the project as one of international cooperation partners.

Tallinn - Monte Carlo Electric Marathon 2011

The race of electric vehicles started in front of the Opera Theatre Estonia and during 10 days the cars passed Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and finally ended in Monaco – altogether 3200 km.

The purpose of Electric Marathon was to:
a) re-establish the tradition of historical car race between Tallinn and Monte-Carlo
b) promote environmentally friendly electric vehicles
c) connect Northern and Southern Europe with environmentally friendly road covered with charging points for electric vehicles

The thing that made this particular race unique was, that it was driven exclusively with electric cars.

The trip lasted 10 days and it ran through 8 countries.

Ensto's crucial role

On these long routes, it is vitally important to arrange the charging or "refueling" reliably. Ensto had made a movable charging unit that is easily following the with the cars of the competition.
Two mobile charging centers were specially made in cooperation with Harju Elekter, each composed of six charging poles and a distribution center.

At the finish line

In Monaco, the competitors were greeted by a great amount of spectators and also by H.S.H Albert II, the Prince of Monaco, who participated in organizing of the race. He puts a great emphasis on electric driving in Monaco region.

The best drivers received great trophies in a festive ceremony at the front of the Automobile Club de Monaco. The same place where F1 Monaco Grand Prix –trophies were handed just few weeks before. The trophies were handed by Albert II, the Prince of Monaco, Edgar Savisaar, the mayor of Tallinn and Timo Miettinen, Ensto's Chairman of the board.

Toyota Prius was plugged into an Ensto charging pole

Matti Rae ready to plug-in a Prius to the new Ensto electric vehicle charging pole.

Ensto's EV charging product development team is currently testing how Toyota’s Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle (PHV) meets the needs of an average driver. Driving and charging are tested together with the world’s leading electric vehicle developers.

Plug-in hybrids are not a common sight in the traffic yet, but at Ensto you may spot one. Ensto’s own electric vehicle Doris got a boyfriend for a couple of weeks as our ladies and gentlemen involved in the product development of EV charging poles are testing electric driving.

Toyota Prius currently being charged at Ensto main office in Porvoo combines electric and hybrid technology and represents the next major step in our efforts to support emission-free traffic. It is equipped with a battery that can be recharged by connecting the plug to an Ensto charging pole. The car is used as an emission-free electric vehicle for short distances and as a conventional hybrid vehicle for longer trips.

Zero stress on the environment

The first one to take Prius for a test drive was Matti Rae, Director of New Technologies at Ensto. He opens the charging station with his RFID card and is ready to go. After a 1.5 hour charging with the new Ensto EVC pole, the battery of 5.2 kWh is full.

Naturally, Matti has driven a hybrid and also a pure electric vehicle before but still he enjoys the experience. In one day, he drove approximately 20 km which is quite typical for him and also the range the plug-in Prius can travel in EV mode. During the day, zero euros was used on gasoline. As the electricity used for charging was generated mainly from renewable energy sources, there was no stress on Matti’s conscience either.

When the pioneers meet

The current cooperation is part of Toyota’s intensive testing period to make the technology ready for market. Toyota is the leader in developing electric driving, whereas Ensto is pioneering in electric vehicle charging business.

Energy-Efficiency Accelerates Growth for Ensto

Turnover grows by over 25%, operating profit triples

2010 will be remembered at Ensto for many reasons. Ensto’s turnover grew by 26% last year. There was growth in all business areas and markets.

2010 will be remembered at Ensto for many reasons. Sadly, the company’s founder, Ensio Miettinen, has passed away, leaving us in December at the age of 80, but that was not before he witnessed many important new conquests in areas such as electric car charging and power electronics.

Ensto’s turnover grew by 26% last year. There was growth in all business areas and markets. The total turnover for 2010 reached EUR 215 million. Including the full-year figures from a business acquired towards the end of the year, the total turnover was approx. EUR 240 million.

‘We have decided to focus on solutions that promote energy-efficiency and sustainable development. Our growth was accelerated by a boost in single-family house construction, currency exchange rate developments, and the current trend of energy efficiency,’ explains Ensto President and CEO Timo Luukkainen. The company’s solutions received accolades over the course of the year – for instance, in a Russian national energy-efficiency competition.

Acquisitions in the Smart Grid Markets

In addition to organic growth, Ensto expanded its operations through business acquisitions. In October, the Group took over the French company NOVEXIA, which manufactures equipment for low- and medium-voltage electrical networks, as well as related automation and remote monitoring devices.

With the acquisition, Ensto reinforced its competence in the smart network market. ‘NOVEXIA’s long-term customer relationships strengthen Ensto’s position in the electricity network construction sector, especially in French-speaking markets, and the company’s products perfectly complement Ensto’s previous product selection, particularly in terms of Smart Grids. Smart Grids increase the energy-efficiency of our surroundings, but they do set new requirements for network construction,’ Luukkainen says.

Growth in All Markets

Growing market areas include e.g. Russia, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. ‘Ensto’s traditional countries, Sweden and Norway, have also increased their orders,’ Luukkainen says.

The popularity of the energy efficiency trend has also led the company to invest in gaining competence in this field. ‘Our personnel base is growing. Last year, we recruited more than a hundred new employees, and we have continued at a similar pace so far this year,’ Luukkainen states.

The greatest percentage of employees (37%) was in Finland, with the numbers divided between Porvoo and Mikkeli, followed by Estonia, which saw the opening of a new plastic casing factory in October. In addition to the new Tallinn plant, Ensto has Estonian production facilities in Keila. Together, these two factories employ some 500 people.

Growth is Forecasted to Continue

The energy efficiency trend benefits the electricity sector. When the power generated is clean, even the strictest environmental requirements are fulfilled. The company predicts that growth will continue, not only in its own business but throughout the electricity market.

Ensto is still sticking to last year’s target of doubling its turnover in five years. EN 50397-2 – more demanding, more extensive

New international overhead line standard EN50397-2 defines test requirements for the accessories used with covered conductors (PAS/BLL). EN 50397 standard defines the requirements for covered conductors, EN 50397-2 defines, for its part, requirements for accessories used with these conductors. Compared to earlier national standards, EN 50397-2 is substantially more demanding and covers the accessories designed for covered conductors more extensively. This adds reliability for the CC system.

Ensto's parent company subcribed for European Batteries Ltd shares

Finnish Industry Investment, Fennia Group, Ensto's parent company EM Group and private investors have subscribed for European Batteries Ltd shares worth 13,7 million euros in connection with a directed share issue organised by the company. European Batteries develops and manufactures large, rechargeable lithium-ion based prismatic cells and battery systems. The batteries are used as an energy source in large electric and hybrid vehicles, such as buses and delivery vans, and heavy industrial machines and ships. Large lithium-ion battery systems provide an efficient solution for reserve power systems and large scale energy storage systems.

The current round of financing enables the company to move from early-stage production to industrial production. It also provides the necessary resources for building up an international clientele and partnership network. Jukka Koskinen, CEO of European Batteries comments: “The company is pleased to get new investors on board to develop a Finnish growth company in a new sector and developing market”.

Ensio Miettinen has passed away

Ensio Miettinen, the founder of Ensto, passed away at his home yesterday, 8 December 2010, at the age of 80.

Ensio Miettinen was the CEO of Ensto Group from 1958 until 1978 and a member of the board until 2008. He was a greatly admired entrepreneur, leader, philosopher and visionary. Product development was particularly close to his heart.

Ensio Miettinen will be sorely missed by his wife, four children with their families, and by his many colleagues and friends.

Boosting business towards smart grids

Ensto has purchased the entire share capital of the French company NOVEXIA, a manufacturer of low and medium voltage power grid devices, as well as their automation and remote control equipment. The acquisition is perfectly in line with Ensto’s strategy of focusing on energy efficiency and new demands for electricity distribution.

With this acquisition, Ensto is strengthening its capabilities, particularly in the area of smart grids. ‘NOVEXIA’s long-term customer relationships will solidify Ensto’s position in the grid construction market. Its product offering will complement Ensto’s current product selection, especially in the area of network automation for smart grids. Smart grids enhance energy efficiency in our enviroment, but set new demands to grid construction,’ says Timo Luukkainen, Ensto's CEO.

Product offerings and market areas that complement each other

This acquisition will provide opportunities in the French market for both underground cable and overhead line grid construction. ‘The new entity will combine the strong market positions, product offerings and customer-oriented, comprehensive service concepts of both companies. This will benefit customers, partners and employees,’ Luukkainen adds.

The acquisition will strengthen and expand Ensto’s business, especially in France and French-speaking markets and provide new product offering for Ensto's present customers. Demand increasing in renewable energy industries

Ensto opened a new factory in Tallinn, Estonia, which doubles the production volume of thermoplastic enclosures. The investment was made in order to establish a world-class factory with excellent delivery performance, quality and flexibility.

Ensto is one of the largest manufacturers of mass-customized and tailor-made enclosing solutions used e.g. in renewable energy industries. The excellent geographic location of the new factory enables shorter and flexible deliveries to main customers in Central Europe.

According to Timo Luukkainen, President and CEO of Ensto, there are ca 6,000 different products made in the factories in Estonia, located in Keila and now also in Tallinn. “The new factory produces mass-customized enclosures with high quality. The demand for these products is increasing drastically and our strong growth is expected to continue“, describes Timo Luukkainen the capacity of the new factory.

Mr Luukkainen adds: "99.5% of the factory’s production is exported outside of Estonia and is delivered mainly to Central Europe and to such countries as Japan, USA, China, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand. The factory currently employs 130 people; 50 of these jobs were created this year."

The factory is located in the Tallinn Industrial Park. The total area of the premises in the factory is 9,800 m2. The Tallinn factory specializes in injection moulding and assembly services of plastic enclosures. The factory has up-to-date injection moulding equipment and robotic technology which ensure fast and high quality production.

Ensto’s year off to a flying start
Turnover increased by 20 per cent

Ensto Group’s turnover for January-July 2010 was EUR 108.9 million. Compared to the first seven months of the previous year, this represents an increase of over 20%. Losses of EUR 0.25 million for the same period last year gave way to an operating profit of EUR 6.0 million. Demand is improving and activity in the market has picked up. Turnover increased in all business sectors, most notably in building technology and grid construction.

During the last year, Ensto has seen significant changes in its business unit structure. The objective has been to streamline the organization and remove any overlapping activities. ‘In its current shape, Ensto is extremely well positioned to focus on R&D as well as new products and manufacturing methods’, says Timo Luukkainen, CEO of Ensto.

Transferring enclosure production from Porvoo to Estonia, a project began last year, is now close to completion. The production lines for electric heaters will move to the facilities that became available after the transfer.

Entering new markets on the strength of R&D

Currently, Ensto employs approximately 1,300 people in 19 countries in Europe and Asia. Last autumn, the latest Ensto company was established in India. This manufacturing plant, situated close to New Delhi, produces overhead line equipment. Both Ensto’s new business areas and its traditional grid construction markets are now experiencing high demand.

‘As electric cars, for example, have become more common, new business opportunities have been created both for us and our customers. Our recharging stations are already used in several European cities along roads, in shopping centers, parking areas etc. Right now, the sector is developing at immense speed. In such an environment, an international family business such as Ensto has excellent opportunities for succeeding,’ asserts Luukkainen.

In its business operations, Ensto focuses strongly on green energy efficiency. ‘Even when many other market areas faced economic distress, our customers, who focused on renewable energy sources, increased their purchasing volumes by as much as 30%. During the first half of the year, product sales increased most in Enervent's energy-efficient ventilation equipment markets. These two examples are clear indicators of why Ensto’s future is built on environmentally friendly energy efficiency,’ explains Timo Luukkainen.

The project is part of the redevelopment of the Garibaldi-Repubblica and will be built on several levels, with a total area of 110,000 square meters. The future town of Milan boast architecture from the majestic size for which the choice of shapes and advanced materials becomes witness of fidelity to environmental sustainability as a fundamental principle.
Designed by Pelli as entirely pedestrian district, the project was born around a "podium", a square of 100 meters in diameter, raised six feet above the street level. This idea of a pedestrian zone from the extraordinary size arose from a plan to create continuity between the Park and the citadel of fashion: a pedestrian area surrounded by shops and offices, and a road that passes under the platform.
Under the podium will be made in project financing car parks for an area of over 40 thousand square meters.
Around the "Podium" will rise buildings eco-friendly glass and iron among the tallest of which will reach 145 meters (200 meters height considering the antenna), with residences and offices, and spaces dedicated to fashion, creativity, communication and production. A large hotel with 300 rooms close to the square overlooked by restaurants, cafes, shops, places for culture and music. Even for the construction of the hotel will be the bio principle: the most recent studies will be used in saving energy, materials innovation and environmental sustainability. The natural energy will be maximized for both heating and cooling environments and for their lighting.

Last year was a year of changes for Ensto due to the worldwide financial crisis. Turnover for 2009 came to EUR 170 million, for a 16 per cent decrease year on year.

Operating profit was down by almost a third. Nevertheless, the adjustments carried out last year can rightfully be considered a success.

Timo Luukkainen, Ensto's CEO since May, points out: "The forecast in mid 2009 was for a negative result. Ending up with a positive figure definitely means a victory for us. Thanks to rapidly implemented savings and other adjustments, we were able to continue Ensto's loss-free history."

Finnish personnel united as Ensto Finland Oy

Ensto Electric Oy, Ensto Control Oy, and Ensto Sekko Oy will merge to a single company, Ensto Finland Oy, as of 1 May 2010. The goal of the merger is to streamline administrative routines. This change will not affect the operations of Ensto Oy or Enervent Oy in any way.

"The future juridical structure corresponds to the new organisational structure introduced last autumn, according to which the production facilities serve all of Ensto's business areas", Luukkainen explains.

In 2009, the company both sold and acquired businesses. The share in Ensto Busch-Jaeger was sold to ABB in January. In May and June, Ensto was joined by plastics manufacturer Imco and heat recovery expert Enervent, respectively. Imco was a former subsidiary of Ensto's parent company, EM Group.

Stronger foothold, smaller footprint

Led by the new CEO, Ensto has been strengthening its foothold in the market for energy-efficiency and sustainable development. The challenging market situation notwithstanding, Ensto is preparing for growth. Luukkainen concludes: "We expect the trends of energy efficiency to last and to provide several growth opportunities for the electricity sector."

The connectors and cable lugs are suitable for medium voltage cables with plastic or paper insulation.

Ensto has replaced the connectors in the 25-240 mm2 medium voltage cable accessory kits with its new self-produced SMJ connectors and SML cable lugs. The connectors and cable lugs are suitable for medium voltage cables with plastic or paper insulation.
The connectors and cable lugs are available for sale also as individual products.

The body of the connectors and cable lugs is made of tin plated aluminium, the screws of tin plated brass and the adapter for tightening the screws is made of aluminium and always included in the package.

Thanks to the tin plating the new connectors and cable lugs are corrosion tolerant and suitable for both aluminium and copper conductors.
The body of the connectors is equipped with a separating wall, which in transition joints prevents the oil from paper insulation to harm plastic insulation. The parting wall makes it also possible to connect copper and aluminium conductors without causing a galvanic corrosion.

SMJ connectors and SML cable lugs comply with the requirements of IEC61238-1 standard.

The strike by stevedores in the harbors in Finland has been ended today. Ensto was able to minimize delivery delays in most cases and the situation will be normalized shortly.

The strike by stevedores in the harbors in Finland has been ended today. The stevedores are to return to work as soon as possible.

During the strike the inbound and outbound logistics with containers was blocked in Finland. In spite of the strike Ensto was in most cases able to minimize delivery delays by using alternative transportation means.

We kindly ask our customers to take into account that due to congestion short delays in the traffic by sea may still continue for a couple of weeks before the situation is fully normalized.

Ensto Finland Oy to start operating

Ensto Group has decided to merge Ensto Electric Oy, Ensto Control Oy and Ensto Sekko Oy into one legal company called Ensto Finland Oy as of 1 May 2010.

Ensto Group has decided to merge Ensto Electric Oy, Ensto Control Oy and Ensto Sekko Oy into one legal company called Ensto Finland Oy. The merger will streamline the internal procedures and by simplifying our administration, we can concentrate on the value adding activities for the best of our customers.

The merger will not have an effect on SBU organizations serving customers, nor Enervent companies. Your contact persons will remain the same until further notice. All other contact information (addresses, e-mails or telephone numbers) will remain the same.

Ensto Cubo S thermplastic enclosures in new sizes

Ensto Cubo S is a series of small to medium-size thermoplastic enclosures suitable for demanding environments. A total of 92 new enclosure alternatives in 19 new sizes have been added to the series in response to customer demand.

Following the product update, the Ensto Cubo S series has:

Two totally new enclosure sizes (100 mm x 100 mm x 35/60 mmand 125 mm x 250 mm x 125 mm)
Two base depths (25 and 50 mm)
One new cover depth (10 mm).

Cubo S enclosures suit perfectly for OEM solutions, e.g. drivers and controllers or PCBs. The new lower enclosures, combined with a new low cover alternative, add to the variety of uses of the enclosures. The enclosures require less space, which is a clear advantage when enclosing electronics.

Ensto Utility Networks dziękuje swoim klientom

Ensto Utility Networks przeprowadziło na wiosnę 2011 roku ankietę dotyczącą zadowolenia swoich klientów ze współpracy z firmą Ensto. Właśnie poznaliśmy jej rezultaty, z których wynika iż poziom zadowolenia z naszej działalności jest wysoki. Otrzymaliśmy też wiele wskazówek, które pomogą nam utrzymać ten wysoki poziom, a w przyszłości przeprowadzić niezbędne zmiany na lepsze.
Wybraliśmy kilka zagadnień, którymi zajmiemy się w pierwszej kolejności:

1. Obsługa klienta

Wielu respondentów podkreślało wysoki poziom naszej obsługi i zauważyło dużo pozytywnych zmian w ciągu ostatnich dwóch lat. Tylko 5% zauważyło lekki spadek w tej dziedzinie. Jest więc dla nas dużym wyzwaniem, aby utrzymać ten wysoki poziom zadowolenia z naszych usług.

2. Codzienne kontakty

Prawie wszyscy biorący udział w ankiecie klienci bardzo mocno podkreślali rolę codziennych kontaktów z naszymi pracownikami i ocenili je również bardzo wysoko. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na częste wizyty i seminaria. Postaramy się utrzymać częstotliwość naszych wizyt, a niektórych klientów odwiedzać nawet częściej niż do tej pory.

3. Zakupy wyrobów Ensto

Wszyscy respondenci wyrazili wolę dokonywania w dalszym ciągu zakupów naszych wyrobów, a tylko kilku zaznaczyło, że zrobi to pod pewnymi warunkami. Zrobimy wszystko, co w naszej mocy, aby te warunki rozpoznać i spełnić.

Sprostanie tym wszystkim wyzwaniom nie jest łatwym zadaniem, dlatego opracowaliśmy plan działania, dostosowany do potrzeb i specyfiki polskiego rynku.
